2007 Spring Picnic: We never know what the weather will be for our annual spring picnic. Last year it was hot, this year it was quite cold.  Our members still enjoyed a day in the pines complete with panning and skillet throwing contests and of course - a great meal.

2007 Feb Outing: This was our largest outing in quite some time. An area was 'pushed' using a tractor then worked with metal detectors and drywashers.  It was a great time of year to get out in the desert and visit with Mother Nature.

2006 Steak Fry: This is an annual event and the largest gathering we have each year.  It takes many volunteers to plan and execute this event and we all have a wonderful time.

2006 Coin Shoot: Here we are at our annual coin hunt in the desert near Rich Hill.  Its great fun being out of doors finding buried coins with a metal detector.

2006 August Outing: With just enough water in the creek members enjoyed a day of dredging amongst the green forest pines.  Check out those smiling faces (an a bit of gold too!).

2006 Walker Days: Our members enjoyed the mountain scenery at the Annual Walker Volunteer Fire Dept. fund raiser.  Walker is at the head of Lynx Creek, one of the major gold producing creeks in Arizona.  It was an opportunity to support the community and promote Prospecting

2006 March Outing. This outing was the 2006 annual assessment where we get a bit of help from a backhoe to dig holes. Teams of members then work each hole to see what they can find.  At the end of the outing the holes are filled and area reclaimed and the members rest.

2005 Steak Fry: Here is our annual Steak Fry held, this year,  in Peoria, AZ.

2005 Coin Hunt: See photos of our annual Coin Hunt. Several events were held and fun was had by all.

2005 Spring Picnic: Our members have enjoyed a beautiful spring this year in Arizona. Before the hot weather settles in for the summer they took the opportunity to gather in the pines for the annual spring picnic. The day was filled with fun, games, good food and even some mining.

2005 April Outing: Due to the wet winter there was still water in some of the creeks. Our members headed to Turkey Creek for a bit of mining and socializing.

2005 January Outing: This outing was held near Morristown on a beautiful weekend featuring Spring-like weather. Members took advantage to see the best of the Arizona desert, and move a bit of dirt too.

Annual 2004 December Steak Fry:  Each December the Roadrunners' forego their normal monthly outing in search for gold for a wonderful steak dinner. Volunteers cook and serve hundreds of steaks and provide entertainment for the membership.

2004 Spring Picnic Our annual Spring Picnic was held in the forest near the historic Senator Highway. The pine trees provided the shade while our members provided the fun. There is more to do than dig for gold when the club sponsors a get-to-getter.

A Chance to Dredge: With the extended drought in Arizona it can be difficult to find enough water to use a dredge. Here are a few folks that found some of the wet stuff and put it to good use.

April 2004 Outing: Even with the hot weather fast approaching there are chances to get out and look for gold.

Rough Landing: Another unusual find made by members on our claims. Gold isn't the only thing you can find with a metal detector.

February 2004 Outing: This outing pitted the men against the women in a dry washing competition.

One Man's Junk: A few pictures of finds made while metal detecting. Don't get discouraged.

Mesa Gold Show: The annual GPAA Gold Show was held in Mesa with the RRPC hosting a booth to supply information about the club. Check out the pictures and see our volunteers in action.

January 2004 Outing: Here are some photos from the first group outing in 2004.

Gallery 1: Take a look at this unusual find one of our members made on a claim near Rich Hill.

Gallery 2: Here are a few more finds made by our members including a unusual coin.
